The one who went north...

Sometimes there are things in life I wanna be the first person knowing every single detail of it. Its not that i'm kaypoh, but I just wanna know cause i hate being the last person to know bout something. Its sucks. Some people tend to keep things away from someone, and i admit, somethings are better left unsaid. But if you were to tell it to someone, make sure you can really trust that person. Just an advice. :)

Have you ever like watched a movie gazillion times and still laugh or cry with it? I don’t understand myself really. There are some movies that I can almost remember the whole script, but I still watch it like it’s the first time. Wish I could that with my relationships. Niwae, I have a thing for wacky animations, like Anamaniacs, Spongebob, etc... Cause they are like how my brain usually function, you see. And on top of that, having Imran, Salim, Su, Nad and the rest of the crew together, all of us have the same wittiness. Well, i'm the juniour one among them though. Went to Imran's crib on Thursday and had a DVD marathon with him, Su and Ali. We watched Down To Earth, which was damn funny, and Emperor's New Groove, which I've watched like so many times. But the jokes are still valid ok. Haha! I especially like the part where the big guy Kronk made his own movie theme during the attempt to murder the king. That was hilarious. Haha! If you haven’t watch it, you should.

Earlier that day, I had to go to Northland Secondary for a school to school program. Well, basically Beats Society & Music for Good gets invited to schools to talk bout making music, writing songs and performing live on stage. So this dude, Putra from Dual Flavaz, had to give a talk bout hiphop 101, and I had to come in later to talk bout stage presence. It was so damn fun. Well all I had to do was tell them bout what I do and what I do best. Haha! Niwae the students were so supportive and fun to be with. They even called me 'cher', short for a teacher. Cool k. Hehe! Well, I hope I get the chance to do it again. So fun!

Yesterday was Totally Booked's last show, and Imran who was sick didn’t want to host it. So I did lah. It was so super fun k. I mean, at first I was kinda like blur, but then my devil from Speakeasy came up to me, and I managed to make people laugh at the library. How cool is that? Haha! We only had three acts, and we had like two hours to do it. So I had to like fill up the time with a lot of talking, questions and lame jokes, but hell, I did it man. The acts were really good too. Honestly, I can’t wait for the next Speakeasy, and I can’t wait for it to move to Glass Hall. I hope it’s gonna be great *cross finger*. Then I’m gonna host the show my way and evolve it into one of the best local gigs ever. Hehe! Insyallah!

Remember when we young, when someone asked, what is your dream girl, guy and shit like that? Then we would list down a list of characteristics we want in that special someone. Well, if you were to ask me now, I would probably say, just someone I can click with and that’s all. And if a guy is funny, it does not mean he is nice. Take me for an example. :)
