The malaysians... (and esa's trademark twist)

Last week was like the one of the craziest week I've had. I worked everyday cause I wanted to OT, I went to karaoke with Ali and gang, went to sheesha after an evening shift and was really late for work next day (hehe!) and last but not least, I went to watch Singapore Vs Malaysia at the Kallang Stadium. Happening giler baby! The last time I went there to was when I participated in the NDP 1999. Wow, thats freaking long.

Bumped into my ex-classmate in secondary school, Sam, while I was screaming and shouting. He approached me and shouted back. Haha! He's freaking hilarious. I like the part when I danced like a weirdo and he put up his middle finger in the air. Haha! Like wtf we were thinking. But hell, it was super fun and it sure brings back a lot of memories.

This is Sam...

The best part of the match was to see Singaporeans filling up the whole Kallang Stadium. Malay, chinese, indians, mat, minah, makcik, T-Rex and etc; all came together. I've not seen that for a very long time. I was there when Singapore played Brunei and won 8-0. Yes! I was at the stadium to witness that lah pkm. Anyway, Singapore didnt play that well, but it was all good. We won by penalty kick and that was one of the most euphoric moments I've experienced. Everybody was like out of control lah... Haha! I got a video to share, so enjoy watching...

Mind my stupid narration and feeling face, this is simply crazy...

Had ikan bakar, thanks to Ali, at Simpang after the match. My god, the dish was superb k. Or maybe because I was too hungry. Caught a glimpse of Nurul there with her bf, but I managed to wave secretly. She waved back lah! Haha! Woo hoo! Tak boleh tasyan. Anyway, here's another silly video I came up with, and I think only people who can get it will get it. Enjoy!

:)

Last two days, someone at my workplace sabo-ed me, and today karma slaps right back on her face. Haha! So now I seriously believe that what goes around do comes around. Thank you Alicia Keys!

The one storybook...

Many start with the beats,
While me making my rhymes...

Speakeasy nowadays...

Yayams the Cute made a cameo...

.....

The sound system at The Glass Hall was kinda bad last night at Speakeasy. I couldn't hear what most of the rappers were saying even when they were speaking. Sleeq's performance was the best though. Alyph is such a talented young man. Rauzan launched his album, My First Storybook, and I must say that his album is the best from Beats Society right now, in terms of music and artwork of the whole cd. Its really worth it. Someone said something to me at the end of the show that totally made my night. There are still good people in this world.

Did my normal routine and hung-out with XS. Sometimes its nice when we dont have to talk about music, but just random topics. I headed back home quite early that night, but met Ali only to laugh our ass off till 4am under my block. Eversince last year, I wanted to create a list of 101 things to do before 30. Yesterday, I got the 34th one, thanks to Ali, which was to sleep under the void deck for one night. Haha! Maybe once the list is ready, I should post it up.

I woke up quite early for a Sunday. Cleaned my room, made some beats and watched dvd. Then met up with Su, Roze, Rau and Ali just to play at the playground. Haha! Its been a long time since I last played on a swing. And as a matter of fact, I still got my Bedok skills. Haha! Thank you guys for the crazy Sunday.

The one saturday...

"You cant tell a book by its cover,
But you can tell how much it's gonna cost you..."

I watched Da Vinci Code last night (ok, i know its a little too late) and I love it so much. Its so twisted and its the mind fucking kinda story. It makes me want to find out more about history. I love history btw. I love the special effects too while the characters are telling a story. Niwae if you haven't watch it, you should take an MC and watch it. My rating, 4 stars...

I dont know how some people can remember me even when they only knew me in kindergarden. I mean, I dont even remember myself in kindergarden. Hehe! Now I'm wondering what are my former classmates doing. Teachers? Lawyers? Drug addicts? Once I met this young lady at Changi hospital, and she could recognise me because of my mould in the eye. She was hot btw! Yesterday, I met another friend who said that she was from the same kindergarden class, and she said I haven't changed a single feature of my face. Except that now i'm much thinner (and cute!) *wink*. Hehe! If anyone happens to know anyone in the picture below tell them I'm trying to keep in contact. And if they're rich, send some money so I could wear braces and straighten my teeth. Thanks! I'm 2nd from left, sitting infront.

Had a freaking weird nightmare last night, probably due to a tiring day at work and the excitement of Da Vinci Code. I had to choose between two person who is actually the same. Its confusing, but I woke up crying at 10.30am btw. Then I started laughing cause it was kinda stupid actually. Haha! But hell, it was a scary situation. Serious, serious!

I havent been performing for about a month already, but I have two shows coming up in February, more info soon. Tomorrow will be Speakeasy and Rauzan is launching his album. I love my Saturdays!

The one cheeky song...

"Lets go to the park,
I wanna kiss you underneath the star..."

We doing the myspace camera whoring in the toilet picture...

Ahhh... John Legend and his huge biceps...

The whole time I was watching the show, I was freaking inspired. The sound system was amazing, Esplanade is the best. John Legend was superb! He was not even panting throughout the show and his voice was as amazing as his recorded music. I was making fun of it at the end of the show telling Ali, "You thought that was live? Its was all fucking cd." Hehe! Probably the only irritating thing on the show was the opening act, who kept name dropping herself but we dont even know who she was. Haha! Once John Legend is out on stage, everything was great. The whole time at the show I was waiting this song called (P.D.A) We Dont Care. Its a very cheeky song btw. When he played it, haha, I was really excited. Thank you Johnny, for the great show! ;)

There were so many people I knew once I went out of the theater. People I know who knows me but act like they dont know because knowing me is not like knowing people who knows people, so I myself had to act like I know them because my friends know them and I wouldnt want them to know that I dont want to know them, because I dont know them well. You know?

Had a lot of kekek moments with Yani and Ali. Yani is this well travelled friend who looks like Fantasia Barrino, have a very good sense of humour and cant sing for nuts. Anyway, I wanted to go to Al-Majlis for supper but the rest wanted Mosi. So being a nice guy as I've always been, hehe, I said ok. I ordered hotdog with bread and a maggi goreng. 5 people ordered maggi goreng btw. PKM betul... they cooked the maggi one by one lah, and they took more than 2 mins for one packet. Like what the fuck?! I understand that you have one pathetic oven to heat up your bread, so I understand the slow service for breads. But maggi?! I'm sorry guys, I am not going to eat at Mosi unless I have $3.50 left in my wallet or the arab owner marries 4 more makcik.

Blog more soon.

The one with tickets...

"If you were any thinner, you wouldnt exist"

I dont know why but I feel like time is moving too fast, and I can't seem to catch up with a lot of things. Its already going to be the middle of the month. Good things to look forward are payday and shows in february. The only thing I hate end of the month are bills. Niwae, I have tons of things to do which includes sleep. My eyebags are killing me.

I watched The Machinist the other day and I am so happy I watched it. At least now I know that i'm not the thinnest person on the planet next to Calista Flockhart and Razil. The lead character in the movie is so fucking thin, he's like a walking skeleton. Ahuh, i'm saying fuck here, so i'm really serious about it. His waist is 24 lah, pkm betul. Hehe! The movie is about this guy who has insomnia and he has not been sleeping for almost a year. Christian Bale (Batman Begins, The Prestige) is awesome in this movie. You should watch it, its really good. I would give it 4 stars (5 being the maximum).

The other night, me and Ali watched Blood Diamond. I was so exhausted I slept for about 15 minutes during the movie. Hehe! Leonardo is a freaking talented actor btw. I dont know why whenever his name is mentioned, people always think of him as the loverboy in Titanic. He's one of the best actors I've seen. Btw, the movie is very good, and its very touching. There is one line in the movie that says "God left us and this place a long time ago" describing how fucked the whole country is. Now tats really sad k. I would give the movie 4.5 stars. So many good movies to watch this year. Jim Carrey's new movie, The Number 23, is one of them. Its about a man obsessed with the number 23, like how I am with 33, so its a must watch. Maybe I should make a must watch list. Hmmmm...

Got my first few compliments at work this week. One particular compliment was from this lady who only wanted a cup of coffee but she did not have any Singapore dollar. She only had US dollars and we dont accept it at the restaurant. So i took a mug and gave her a free cofee. She wrote to my manager about it and said that I made her day. Woo hoo! I was so happy when I saw the comment paper. She left her contacts and said that if I were to come to Korea, where she lives and work as a dentist, do contact her. Sigh~ I went there last August and I'm going to the dental on Tuesday. Hehe!

Oh, btw, I got tickets to watch John Legend this Monday! Yeay!

The one giving up... NOT!

"I know what i'm up against
We as rappers must decide what's most impor-tant
And i can't help the poor if i'm one of them"

I spoke to Imran last year, (which was like 3 weeks ago) I wanted to take a break from BS and music, and he was not suppose to tell to anyone. But people like Nick and Shin Tong even know about it. Niwae my point is, I am not giving up, I'm taking a break because at this point of time I dont really know where I'm going musically. As a matter of fact, I think I had a very good 2006. I remained active the whole year, got a song on a chart, went Korea to perform, released an EP, appeared on the front cover of a weekend paper and I appeared on TV. I dont see any reason why I should give up tau. I'm taking a break to work some things out for myself and for my love ones.

I dont know why but I keep wanting to lead something, but I realised that I am not a leader. I'm just a follower, so from now I would assist anyone who needs my help as best as I can. My music plan this year; March will see XS.1 compilation, Ishaaq in April and Bless in May. In June, I'm going to have mine and in August, if there aren't better things for me and my close friends, I'll take a bow at BS Anniversary. I just want to end things on a high note.

I rather take a humble leave before I'm dismissed. Life is short, play Xbox! Haha!

Just for the fun of it... ;)

The one best 'sheesha' friend...

"I'm not one to repeat myself,
But if it aint broken, don't fix it..."

Nothing like a sheesha session with Ali after a hard day's work. I can sit down with him for hours laughing at each others stupid jokes and remark. Sometimes I wonder why he's so nice to a lot of people, especially to me and he has never asked anything in return. Thank you Ali. I love you bro! Haha! Tak tak, aku serious! Hahaha!

Soon, you'll be my sheesha friend too k. Love u more! :)

The one resolution...

"what what what what, 1 2 1 2,
some dreams they dream, some dreams come true..."

Everytime new year comes, people would always ask the same question. "What's your new year resolution?". I have a lot actually, some of which are years due. Haha! But if there's one major one this year, it would be sticking to my current job at Ikea. I hate switching jobs because at the end of the day, I would go broke and have tons of bills to pay. Its been three months plus now and I really like this job. I also like getting paid at the end of the month. Now there's so many things I can buy and I can also start saving for the days to come.

I did not go out this new year eve cause 1) I was working earlier that day, so got a little tired and 2) I have no friends. Haha! Just kidding. I was at home watching TV till I fell asleep only to wake up again at 11.55pm. Called Sab (and she too was sleeping) and forced her to countdown with me with our husky-wakey voice. And what the fuck was happening on Channel 5? The show was freaking wack, except for Hady.

The day before I was at Imran's album launch. His album is super duper nice, so get it and support him. I have no idea why was I performing that day cause I did not play much part in making of the album, but I look super good though. Haha! No lah, I just bought a new jeans. Niwae I did a new song, Satu Malaya, which was initially Imran's but I just love the chorus and made it mine. I totally blacked out and forgot my lyrics, and performing infront of some hot women made it worst. But I'm glad I did ok. Well, I think it was. Haha! I had fun lah, thats the main point and Nurul thinks I'm funny merepek nye, so plus point for me. She's hot btw, tak boleh tasyan! So many people came, and so many things happen. Congrats Imran!

Watched Borat today with Ali and Imran and it was freaking hilarious, but its a no brainer movie. Watch it on a weekday and save $2 please. You can buy Mc Chicken with $2. Got myself a planner and I will make sure I use it eh Ali. Next year kau beli untuk aku ah! Haha!

2007 is a year for some real changes. Nah mean? :D
