The one wif code Doraemon...

Me and Shai on the last day of my dude of the week...

Prisoner of war playing soccer...

My long week actually started from last Monday when I was selected to be the dude of the week on Ria 89.7Fm. I felt like I went to the Mediacorp studio almost every day. Rauzan, who accompanied me the whole week, said, "Abg Fazli, its like we’re working here like that huh" and for a moment I agreed with him. The going there part is ok, but every time we wanted to head back, it was like we didn't want to. But thanks to Ali, Abg Sudirman and of course code Doraemon, I never really had problems going back home. Su's family had a freakin chalet going on the whole week too, and it was the best place to chill every night.

FreakyZ and Styles From Beyond @ Kidszone...

Feeling the center of attraction...

The lovely kids, Faiz, Cha and Luqman... Faiz look similar to my brother, Firdaus...

Tan Mei Ling and Suzey Cheng...

"Should we attack or not?"

Check out my chopstick leg...

Zul Mystro and FreakyZ...

The BS family...

I can still remember some of the things that happened last week. I talked to Kak Shai for the first time on Monday, and surprisingly she was really fun to talk to. I thought she was a soft spoken person, but nahh. 5 girls were chosen to date me. Tuesday, was the soccer match. The aching part lasted through out the week btw. Wednesday, went to Ria for the 2nd get-to-know session. 3 girls were chosen to date me. Later that night, headed to Su's chalet for a BBQ session. Kicked a ball over to another house and had to do a little Mission Impossible move. Thursday, went to Dbl O for the R&B playoff. Kak Shai called and I was on air through my handphone. She called Ali, Shera and Imran, to find out more about whom I really am and what I'm really like. Imran gave a shocking news on air, and I was stunned plus awkward. Friday after Hiphop Hookup, I brought all the friends I could to Ria and ended the dude of the week on a high note I must say. A girl won a date with me. Yeay!

Hiphop Hookup show was a success. Friday was a little sucky, because the level of crowd participation was kind of low and most of us didn't really know what we were suppose to do or how to do it. I woke up early Saturday to go to Zouk for the band rehearsal for Milkrun, which is end of this week btw, followed by the Kidszone show at Big Splash. The weather was so freakin hot, and when I did my set, I was sweating as if they had spotlights on. A fan gave me bag when I was performing, and I started trembling for awhile. That was freakin stressful. Kidszone was fun, and I enjoyed my set. Hiphop Hookup on Saturday was the shit ofcourse. Imran told me that I would play a small role in this show, but in the end, I was the host. Pkm betul! The show started off with SFB and ended with my Same Woman Again. The audiences were amazing. I even had a family came up to me and said the show was superb and damn I was on cloud nine. Sunday, we changed a little bit here and there on the program and then we closed the three day event. I want to do that again if I can, someday. Sab came to watch me on Sunday and met my hiphop friends after a long time. I bet now she knows what we are like when all of us are laughing together. Saw familiar faces in the crowd on all the three days, thank you for you support. :)

Thank you to all those responsible for code Doraemon. Thank you Su for the hospitality at the chalet, Rauzan for accompanying me throughout the week, Imran for the freakin good news, friends who came down to support and Dear for coming down on Sunday. Love ya'll.

I went to watch Psykelecticz at Velvet Underground last night for the poetry slam and I don't know why I enjoyed myself. Haha! I'm freakin weird. It reminded me of the days when I performed there with Bless and Shino back then. I was struck with ideas all of the sudden when Psykelecticz were performing Poltergeist. Naufal looked at me said "Ah ah! Dah start ah tu ape entah dia pikir" Haha! I can get so carried away.

Brazil is in quarter final. Yeay!

'Superman Returns' opens today and I want to watch it badly. Superman sia!

The one who played soccer..

Yes, I played soccer last night with the hiphopheads after like years of not doing it. I totally lost my stamina and I'm very kekok with the ball. Haha! The other boys were very good k. I can't even run for like 5 minutes. Then they started calling me veteran player. I told them, give me 3 weeks, im'ma beat their asses off. Haha! Well, I can never be good at soccer. Now my whole body is aching like mad now, and I can't lift my leg up. Hehe!

I appeared live on radio on Monday. I'm Ria's Dude of the Week btw. It's kind of funny cause there are actually ladies who would wanna get to know FreakyZ. Some even said I sound sexy and cute on air. Can you believe it? Fazli aka Bangla aka Jendol is sexy? Haha! It was fun lah, but little stressful cause I have to go on a date with the one who wins me. Niwae if you like to hear my so-called sexy voice on air, you can tune in tonight at 11pm sharp. I'll be appearing tonight and also Friday night. Then on Saturday I'll have my show at Big Splash. Yeay!

And please request for my song, Same Woman Again k. Thanks! :)

The one wif the smart kid...

I forgot how it feels like to travel to Ngee Ann Poly till yesterday. It took me like an hour to reach there, and for a moment I was thinking to myself, how I met Yanti back then. Feeling long distance relationship. Haha! I had a long Saturday yesterday, especially when you don't sleep the night before, starting from an early morning rehearsal with the Pasir Ris Crest Secondary military band. Saw some other acts who would be performing at the event too, and I must say it was kinda weird actually. Haha! Niwae the event will be held at Zouk on 2nd July and I will update more soon.

Went to town after that to catch Sleeq and Richard in action at the Street Fest competition. They were very good, and it was in fact one of their best performances. Alyph's beat is just crazy. They won 2nd in the competition, but its all good, they are still my favourites. Then Yus and I walked around town for awhile to collect that free Gatsby facial foam. Well, he only wanted to check out this Eurasian chick actually. Met Ishaaq along the way and then we checked out the Glass Hall. The next Speakeasy held there is like next month, and I just can't wait to perform there. After that we went to Beach Rd to meet up with all the other Asone members.

Bak Latiff and Md Zain...

There's this stall at Beach Rd that sells drinks and desserts and the kid who took the customers order is very cute and smart. He talks so well, and he reminds me of Bak Latiff, a very well known young actor during P.Ramlee's time. He even sound like him and he talks to me like he knows me. Haha! Sometimes I wonder how kids connect to me and how easily I can make them like me. I like that part of me, but when they get all cranky and rowdy, I hate them. Haha! But I love kids lah, and that is probably one of the reasons why I'm performing at the Kidszone. I think I'm still a kid too, but I'm not Michael Jackson k.

The delicious cake...

Sheesha session...

Apiz entertained my ass off the whole night... haha!

Look at my eyes man... 24 hours of staying awake...

Later that night, the whole lot of us headed to Al-Majlis for a sheesha. Mok came by later with a cake and we celebrated Asone 6th year anniversary. The cake was freaking delicious and it has that ferrero rocher kinda taste. I had so much fun just sitting down and talking to them. I wish someday the whole lot of us could perform together on stage. Or the least we could do is, be friends till we grow old. I love them. Got back home early, for a Saturday, and I had a very good sleep indeed.

Woke up this morning to find my room in a mess, and I had to clean it up a little bit. My aunt came by with my cousin. She looked at me, asked me how I am and she hugged me. I don't know why she did that, but that was very sweet. On a side note, during my younger days, I use to come by her place almost every weekend to play with my cousins, and she treats me like her own child. Sometimes even my cousin would get jealous of me, and we wanted to switch moms. Would love to now actually. Haha! My aunt cried and called me when she found out that I had a tumour. I couldn't hear what she said though because she was crying so badly. All I know is she loves me, a lot. Thank you Mak Besar.

I have a problem. I seldom call back missed calls. I like to sleep, and when I'm sleeping and there's a call, I won't be able to hear it because I always set my phone to beep and vibrate. I hate loud ringing tones. So if you can't get thru me, you can sms me. I read my smses, and I do reply them, unless it's forwarded or it's really unnecessary. If you don't believe me, you can check my freaking sent msgs box. I'm always on msn too. I read my emails everyday. Or if it's really important, you can call my house. There are a lot of ways to contact me. But this is one bad habit I've tried to change since last time, and I still have it. I'm still trying my best to change, but at any point of time if you're tired of trying to contact me, then you should stop. I will look for you. Bad habits shouldn't be the reason why friends quarrel.

There have been losses in some of my friend's life. We shouldn't mourn over things, but be strong and live life to the fullest. And love your love ones.

I'll be on RIA 89.7fm tomorrow night, right after Rauzan appears live on Skoolz. So do tune in if you have time. Thanks! :)

The one wif the military band...

Yesterday morning I had a practice at Pasir Ris Crest Secondary with the school military band for my upcoming show in July. I gave them my 'Its Still Hiphop' instrumental and they arranged it for a full band. It was fantastic. I cant wait to perform on stage with them. The music was almost the same as mine ok. It goes to show too that Fruity can be amazing. Niwae this show is on the 2nd of July, held at Zouk and I'll update with more information later this month.

My cousin, Malek, is on the tuba btw. I bet he was like, "what the hell is my cousin calling himself FreakyZ?". Hehe!

The one who watches soccer...

I spend the whole day of my birthday with my dear Sab. It's been a long time since we spent some quality time together, and I was so happy that we got to do it again. We went to watch Cars, and Pixar is the best when it comes to animation, so they movie is super great. *two thumbs up* Fortunately, there's is no 'crying' part in this one, so I didn’t cry ok. We wanted to movie marathon at Tampines feeling conquering the whole day, but my dear Sab called Esa, and you know when girls meet, they can never stop talking. So we took a pass on the marathon, and settled down with a bubble tea story telling session. I had Spaghetti at Coffee Bean for dinner btw, and it's so freaking delicious. Now I feel like having one. Argh! Later when Esa headed back, I brought Sab to the place I used to chill out during the 'emo' days. Nah, I wont tell where it is, its secret. Hehe! I get to meet my dear, a Pixar movie, a pair of Giordano jean, dinner and bubble tea all for free. Yeay! Come on, it's my birthday; I like to be pampered sometimes.

Had a meeting bout next week's performances at Esplanade. I just like the sound of it. 'Performing at Esplanade'. Sigh… It's like the coolest place to perform at, plus you get to bump into some hot chicks sometimes. Hehe! Niwae people, I have two shows on 3 days next week. I'll be performing at the Big Splash on the 24th, Saturday, 2pm – 6pm at this event called Kids Zone organized by RIA. Tickets are only $2 and it's sold at Muzika Records and I think probably at the door itself. Line up would be ME, Syed Azmir from Anugerah, Malaysian Idol runner-up, Dina and many more. There will also be a flea market managed by the flea queen of all time, Nadra. So do come down if you're free. Next, on the 23rd, 24th and 25th, this is Friday, Saturday and Sunday consecutively, I'll be performing at Esplanade. Time would be 6.30pm onwards. The event is called The Hiphop Hookup, and it's FREE! Just follow the sound and you will find me k. Thanks!

Ah yes, I do watch soccer k. But I only do it one month in 4 years, because I think only the World Cup make sense. And the only team I support since last time, 1994 to be exact, is Brazil. 1 - They play soccer with a lot of grace. 2 - Romario was my freaking idol, but I suck at soccer btw. 3 - The Brazilian ladies, the fans usually, are so freaking hot k. Hehe! I subscribe to the World Cup channel because I wanted to attract Ali for soccer, but he also subscribes lah. Shitze! Niwae missing him so much, I msn-ed him and we watched today's match together. Brazil wasn't that superb today, but they won anyway, so it's all good. I feel like 90 minutes is very short nowadays. Sab was all over Kaka, sigh, that's what all women do during soccer, checking out the hot guys. Haha! Niwae I feel like playing soccer lah, it's been so long.

OK people, I wanna recommend you this movie so much. It will make you have goosebumps and if you are sensitive (like me), you will freaking cry with joy, because this movie is so sweet, like totally. Watch ‘My Date With Drew’. Seriously! It's really good. It's about this guy trying to date Drew Barrymore. If I were that guy, I would wanna meet Eminem in person and chill with him, showing off my Fruityloops skills. I would call it, ‘You Spoiled Me, White Trash’. Niwae you can check the website for this movie at http://www.mydatewithdrew.com. This movie is brilliant, trust me.

I can't wait to really start work. I can't wait to perform at Esplanade again. I can't wait to see for the next Brazil match. I can't wait to meet my dear again. Eh wait, I paid for the bubble tea eh, but thanks dear for the wonderful day. Love u!

My hiphop or should I say BS family organized a surprise McDonald party. Banyak nye private function gig. Haha! We played games, and all of us were like small kids. That’s why I love some of my friends so much; cause no matter how old we are we always have that little child inside of us. Then I had Mc Spicy, Milo, and a birthday cake. Cake was freaking old school btw, haha, I don't know if they noticed it. Made a wish *Amin*, they sang a birthday song for me and I blew my candle. Then I had to give them each a happy meal box. Haha! It was bloody fun lah.

Thank you to those who made it possible. Thank you for the surprise. And thank you for the presents. Love them a lot. Su I know you’re the one behind the venue, cause I only told you bout my childhood dream. Haha! Thank you so much!

This is the first year I get so many wishes from so many people. And the funny thing is so many of them wished me on Saturday because they thought that my birthday was on the same day as the party. And how the hell did u guys know bout the party? Haha! Next year, insyallah, I will organize a party, and then you guys come alright. We’ll have Mc Spicy, Milo and sheesha. Haha! Thank you so much people. Love ya'll.

I have hundreds of photos in my photo box, and I have no idea how to sort them out. There are so many memories in every photo. So many people I've met in my life. Some I still keep in contact and some I almost forget. Niwae I had nothing to do so I just scanned a few of them and I just want to share it with all of you.

Sometimes I wish I could still have the toys I played with, the book I drew Mickey Mouse a lot times, my Micro Genius, my red BMX bike (that's freakin classic ok), my first pager and many more. Why do I throw them away? So stupid of me. But if I were to keep them, people would call me karang guni. Hehe! There are a few things I keep nowadays, for sentimental values. You wont believe what I have in my boxes.

It would be cool if we could take snapshots of everything we do for the first time, wouldn’t it? Then we’ll have a photo collection of ‘My First Time’. Cool eh.

Oh god, please keep all my family and friends save, especially my love ones. Thank you. :)
