The one who likes waking up early...

I have no idea wat time i slept last night, but i woke up 5am jus now, feelin so refresh and good. The headaches i had last night are totally gone. Wish i had more sleeps like tis. Waking up early make u feel good actually. U shower, eat breakfast and off to work. Should make it a habit. No more late night outings... Hehe...

Had a good dream bout HipHop Hurray 3, and i jus pray for it to come true. The thought of performin last on tat day, really stresses me up. I dont know if i can pull of another great show like i did at the Arts House. Plus i'm doing solo somemore. I heard some crews have laptops and all tat jazz to perform. I tot of having SFB for Poppa's Got A New Wife, but i cant for some reason. Maybe i'll have to pull another Linda Chia to dance wif me. Haha! But on the other hand, i finished my intro which i have been trying to do for almost a month already, and somehow i like the sound of it. U guys gotta check it out on 25th Feb. Pls be there. :)

I had a haircut yesterday, and now my hair is really short. *boo hoo* Now i look like a secondary school student, Hehe...

Watchin B-Quartet the other evening really inspired me. I dont know why, but somehow i wish hiphop in Singapore could perform wif bands. B-Quartet were so good, and the music was
impeccable. I jus love the singer's stage presence. There was one time he said "hello" in a very energetic way and everyone said "hello" back to him. Tat was nice ok. I have no idea why i pay attention to all tis things, but watchin another performer is actually very interesting. After bout 20 mins of performin, they invited another group up called Page. They couldnt perform earlier due to heavy rain, so they were invited to share slots wif B-Quartet. Sweet rite. Niwae the drummer for B-Quartet was the lead and vocal for Page, freakin talented guy. And on the last song, the drummer for Page played guitar, and even he could sing. Confusing rite? Haha! Well, both bands rock like hell, and i love their music. Locals! Locals!

I had half spring chicken and sheesha the other night too. Wat could go wrong? Haha! But i feel like eating pizza. Beef pepperoni. *slurps*

The other evening i was chillin wif a friend of mine. We were talkin², and a guy came and said he wants my fren's number, for a girl who was wif them. But from the first time i saw the girl, i noe she wasnt 'one'. So i was so stupid not to tell my fren, and he was so blur not to notice, he gave his number. On the way back, i told him, "Hey, u noe she's a he rite?". He was so shocked. Then he said i'm jus jealous. I said, "NO eh, why would i? Tat girl is a guy k. Cant u even differentiate?". Well, he didnt wanna believe me....... Yesterday, he called, "Oh my god, its a man!"... Hahaha! We burst out laughin. Moral of the story, always inform ur buddy of fakeness, and buddy pls fuckin listen.

I had the longest day of my life last Tuesday k.. Haha! My day in KL was 1/2 fun and 1/2 tiring. Me, Ali and Dian reached there at 5.30am. Hehe... We didnt wanna get a room cos we tot it was a waste of money, and u know things might go Y Tu Mama Tambien. Haha... So we had breakfast at some coffee shop, and then planned to go ard KL in train. We did tat k. Hehe! We saw alot of nice places further than wat we've not explored before. But after awhile it was gettin mendak already. So I decided to go to KLCC since i've always wanted to go up the bridge. But to my disappointment, we couldnt find the place to get the free tickets in time. By the time we got there, they were giving out tickets for 2.45pm. It was bout 10plus am k tat time. Haha! How the hell are gonna waste time for more than 3 hours at KLCC. Ali and I was already tired laughin and talkin bout Alyph, the other day. Hahaha! Only rich people will die shopping there. The freakin toilet is RM2. Haha... I'll end up spendin RM10 every hour i wanna go toilet.

Niwae Imran was in KL. I couldnt get thru him, but luckily he could get thru me. We decided to meet at Sungei Wang, my fav shoppin centre. The first shop i went at Sungei Wang was Kak Yah's shop. I jus felt like it should be a tradition. Hehehe... Ape ajerrr! Bought myself a very nice jeans. *wink* And there was a tee tat i wanted to buy, but i totally forgot, cos i was so engrossed talkin to Kak Yah. After tat, met Imran and we went to tis chicken rice restaurant at Bukit Bintang, the same street i've been walking everytime at KL. Jeez! The chicken rice was superb nak mampos k. One of the best chicken rice, which reminds me of the one at Bugis. I dont know how much i paid or who paid for me, but hell, i ate already. Hehehe...

Met Shakirah, after the longest time not meetin her. She's still the same, funny plus all the random remarks. Haha... Klakar k. Taufiq also came, and it so nice of him to drive us ard. I felt like i've troubled him tat day. Niwae after some catchin up at Coffee Bean, we headed to the best makan place on planet earth k. Tada!!! Cafe P.Ramlee. The food was fuckin delicious. I'm using the fuckin word people, so u'll noe how important tis is. Hehe... I dont really know where it is, but its near Hartawan. Its like a buffet thingy, u jus take watever u wanna eat, and then i have no idea how they count. Hahaha! But hell, the food is superb, two thumbs and feets up! The setting was also very nice. Good things must be shared, so people if u're goin KL, go there. If u go wif me, i'll bring u there. Hehe... Feelin eh. Again, i didnt know how much was my food, cos Imran paid for it. Thanks! After tat, it was sheesha session which was really bad, but the lovely food i had the whole day jus couldnt spoilt my mood.

We headed home at midnight, after a visit to Sharikah's apartment area and a 170km/h hell ride in Taufiq's car. But the scariest part of all was the strong smell of jasmine when we were waitnig for our bus. It was freakin strong k. OOOOooooooo.... Thank you Imran, Shakirah and Taufiq for the lovely company in KL. We shall go there again very very soon. Woo hooo!

I had a chat wif a lovely new friend of mine yesterday and it was so coincidental tat she has alot of things in common wif me. She's mixed, almost the same name for our father and we both had a tumor in the brain. Well, her's is gone, mine is still here. But it was freaky for awhile talkin to her bout the things we have in common and go thru. She even has a brother who looks like me lah. Hehe... Well, she's a very nice girl and i pray the best for her. :)

I wish i had more time to write, or woke up early today, hehe... Goin to esplanade now. Seeya people there, who ever is there i guess...

The show last Saturday was aite. I had alot of fun k. Me and Im did our brand new track Sumthin Sumthin, and i jus love the sound system there. The bass was hittin like mad k. Woo hoo! OK, thank you. Imran's intro was my personal fav on tat day. Superb sound and lyrics k. Niwae alot of people came, and to my surprise there were even people i didnt expect to see k. So happy to see so many friends. Alyph and Sharif cracked me up tat whole day. Sharif wif his laughs and Alyph ofcourse wif his dopey jokes. Haha! They are so funny. Its jus like me and Ali. Ali would laugh at my jokes, and bcos of his laughter, the jokes are funnier. Exactly the same. Haha! It was Ali's first time hanging out wif them, and even he said the two guys are so freakin funny. On the other hand, they're talented k. But the random questions tat Alyph kept asking and Syarif's blurness and laughter are so freakin funny lah. Hahahaha! It was also my first time having a conversation wif Roze tat day. My god, she's got a really crazy voice k and she's very humble. She said she might be joinin Singapore Idol. Well, i hope she does cos she's really² good.

Niwae Barak brought some friends along, most of them were Arabs, and then i saw tis someone. It was Faz. Haha! K people, Faz is a friend of mine from TP. We always met at the TAC room, and we always smiled at each other, but never tried to talked. When she saw me, she went like, "Hey u, the Eminem guy!".... Haha! She remembered my feelin Eminem days. We then talked bout alot of things. She's so sweet, giggly and cool k. Plus now, she's really hot kedemak. Cannot tasyan. It was really nice bumping into her. Barak ofcourse had some interesting stories to tell. And his cousin who was last time so damn kental, was there too. But tis time he looked a lil bit like a hindi actor and his body was build up. Damnit lah NS! Haha! I had a great day on Saturday... Thank you to those who met me.

Someone asked me yesterday, if i ever had a chinese girlfriend. Does chinese lookin counts? Haha! NO lah, i never had one. Niwae chinese chicks are hot ah nowadays. Sigh~ Oh, oh, oh, i saw Joo Ting the other day too... *melting*

I bet most people who knew Zaheed and reads my blog now, are gonna get a big shock. I was shocked last Sunday when Fir told me tat Zaheed was gettin engage. My heart skipped twice for a moment. Haha! But hell, people tis is the truth. A member of the so-so popular group The Funkus, Zaheed, got engaged last Tuesday on Hari Raya Aidil Adha. Congrats to him and i wish him all the best. I was so happy to see him gettin engaged and all that jazz. He was so nervous, haha, he's always nervous. Oh well, i'm really happy for him. :)

I had one of the most terrific week last week, eventhough one of the days, i got so angry wif someone. It dont matter anymore. Me and Imran met T to discuss bout the endorsement thingy. I got my t-shirts already and i had to wear them at Speakeasy. Cool k. Had to wake up early last saturday for a last minute gig at Jurong Point. The show was ok ok, but i had fun. Niwae Speakeasy IV was bloody freakin off the hook. I still cant over it. But lets not get there too much, some people might get irritated. Haha! Later tat night, after chillin at Mosi, i had a treasure hunt game lookin for Lan at Haji Lane. I ended up chillin wif Dian, Musa, Nini, Fir and the sweet Emilda. She's so like a doll k. We all crashed at her hotel room later. I took a power nap ofcourse. No saliva k tis time. Haha! Then send her to the airport, and headed back home. Tats when i got to know bout Zaheed's engagement. Slept the whole day on Sunday due to the cold weather. Woke up and there were so many thank you msges. Haha! Must be a thank you day on Sunday. Met Imran on Monday to finish up on our brand new song. I wanted him to write sumthin bout himself, but he ended up writing bout me. Damn! But it makes my life easier ofcourse. Lan couldnt be found again tat day. Very difficult to meet him now. Shitze~

I met a very old squeeze of mine. You know, u'll get those squeezy feelin again rite. We couldnt stop the eye contact together, haha, damn funny. Its like playin catching but wif the eyes ofcourse. She looked freakin amazing k. Damn!

Niwae people, i'm performin again tis Saturday. Its not my show, i'm jus a featured artist. I'll be doin jus one song. But hey, trust me, u wont get bored wif the star of the show, Imran. Some of them even asked me to join them to play soccer. Damn! How long have i not done tat. I should rite, once in a while, to keep myself fit. I'm been too lazy making lousy beats in front of my PC. Too much.

I had to host a show at Cineleisure. 3/4 of the show was hosted by Rama, until he had to go off cos TN had another show. So i tooked over. The show was packed wif bands tat rock. There was tis one band, who had a really sweet lead singer, and her stage presence was very² good. She rocks! Lunarin came later, and i'm beginning to like them alot k. They really remind me of Cranberries and i love their sound. After them, it was The SUNS, the main highlight of the night. They sang, they rocked, and they fucked the whole place up. They were freakin good k. And they said 'fuck' on stage... hahaha! The organisers looked abit scared for a moment. But hell, The SUNS rock man.

Met my friends there, and we were like totally excited bout everything tat was happenin at town. Surprisingly, there were more Banglas than the normal crowd at Orchard. Left, right, everywhere i turn, more and more of them lah. They were spraying tis foam thingy on everyone they could spray on. Some people ofcourse got pissed and beat them up, but hey, its not a new year until there's some fighting rite. Hehe! I walked all the way to Hyatt hoping to meet Sab for awhile, but she was nowhere to be found. So then, not knowing where to go, headed to Al-Majlis for some sheesha.

I jus love new year. Everyone is extra nice k. Even the boss at Al-Majlis was extra friendly. I could say hi and hello to anyone i want. If its any other day, people might think i'm crazy k. Hehe! Met alot of friends at Al-Maj. Even some people whom i've not met for awhile. The service was also good and very fast. I hope Al-Maj maintain it tat way.

I could still remember when i was in Primary 6, my school had tis school tour to Malacca. Thruout the trip i entertained everyone in the bus by cracking up jokes and i even sang. Haha! Back then my voice was like Ning Baizura lah ofcourse. Hehe... Then during one of the stops, while all of us were having dinner, the bus driver said, "You know wat, u could be the next Najip Ali". Back then, i hated him, cos personally i tot he was so freakin irritating. But then i realised, how talented and confident Najip is. And now i really wanna be sumthin like him, but on a smaller note.

One of the many resolutions i have for 2006, is to make things happen between me and the hiphop scene. I wanna bring it to another level. I wanna work harder, so tat i'll get more shows. I wanna make more friends than enemies. And ofcourse i wanna finish my EP. But for a start, Speakeasy is coming up, and i'm gonna be the host. Woo hooo! I dont know why i'm excited, but its like sumthin new for me in the new year. Cant wait for more shows. Cant wait, cant wait! Ah lai lai...
