I had one of the best set ever on Saturday night. And i'm still on cloud nine now. Haha! Will blog more tmr, cos i need some rest lah, very tired. For now, this is my happy song for the moment. Enjoy! :)

The one who influenced me...

I'm listening to this spectacular song i wish i could share wif all of u. Its a Malay song actually, but the music is so good k. Its called Pada Senyum Mu, by Pot. Yes, tats his name. Hehehe! He's malaysian. The song reminds me of Sheila Majid, but this is the guy version. Its so soothing, tat i can stop smiling now and imagining myself singing to it ala hindi flims. The first time i heard tis song was in Ahmad's car in KL. Remember, the day i went to KL on a freakin tuesday? Hehe! The moment i heard tis song, i really liked it alot, cos the music and the voice was perfect. K, i dont wanna go on blabbering, but if u like to hear it, ask me ok. :)

Imran and Ishaaq has totally change my style of making music. Now i'm into those jazz kinda tune, and i cant find the next song for FreAkyZ. My style is always like carnival-ish kinda tune. Those wif bells and wierd pizzicato strings. Now, my style is changing and its so hard to get back my old sound. But on the other hand, the new ones are like more chillin. But i'm not ready to chill yet. Haha... Excuse me....

I'm really excited to perform for tis Saturday's show. But there's also another event happenin in Woodlands on the same day, where some of my friends would be. So, there will be lesser people watchin me. I hope my oldskool frens come down, they should btw. Long time never come for my shows. And i hope it doesnt rain on Saturday. Woo hoo! Esplanade k, one of the best place to perform at.

I managed to do sumthin today. Sumthin i've been wanting to do since last month. And i'm really happy bout it. Weeeeeee!

I feel like seoul gardening... Hmmm!

Its been a very busy week for me. I had two shows, one was Totally Booked which was aite and the other one really boosted my alter ego, hahaha! Totally Booked was not tat totally booked, but i had fun performin lah ofcourse. I had to do the switch segment so Psykelectics and me had to start the ball rollin. We only had 2 days to practice, but actually we could have done it a long time ago. Niwae during the performance, which was a lil messy i must say, i couldnt stop laughin cos the guys were so into the song. They even danced k. Haha! Tat was bloody fun actually.

The show at D'Marquee was the shit k! I jus love the sound system and the lightings there. But i dont know why i was already losing my voice when i sang my last song. I only did 3 songs actually. Hehe! At first, i felt like shit lah bcos the stage manager who was a girl, was so freakin rude. She probably thought tat all the performers are all performing for the first time. There was even one point of time when i was taking pictures, she said, "Excuse me, this is not ur gig... Stop taking pictures and wait at the holding area!". I was totally pissed at that time, tat i even wanted to say things tat i would say when i'm angry lah. Hehehe! But i was representing BS and i wouldnt wanna spoil my image as an artiste. So i jus smiled, snapped a few more pictures and headed back to the holding area. Niwae almost all of the artiste didnt wait at the holding area, cos they wanted to see the show. Hehehehe!

The show went smoothly, and during my set, i was really enjoying myself on stage. There were so many people k, and all the way i kept thinking bout how many people down there knows who the hell i am. Hehe! But hey, they were all so supportive and they were screaming and shouting. I did my 'aite' soundcheck and the reply was really² good. I even had an aunty dancing to my song. How cool can tat be! Niwae the show was superb, and its one of the best show i've performed at. After the show, me and Public Eyez started our camera whoring session. Haha! We basically joined everyone's photo taking session. But ofcourse, some of them wanted to take a picture wif us lah *ehem ehem* Hehe! I had loads of fun, thank u to all of u who came down for the show or even met me outside, u guys are the best!

I have one more show this coming Saturday, 25th February, which is Hiphop Hurray III and i hope all of my friends can be there. Its at the Waterfront Esplanade, its free, 2 and a half hours of hiphop and 20 mins of me. So if u're free, pls come down. Thanks...

No matter how sad or moody i can get, performin jus cheers me up. Tats why i love it so much.

The one who had fever...

Last Friday night, it was raining, and i dont know why but i jus felt like dancing in the rain, and i did actually. Saturday, i got a slight fever. Sunday, my body was freakin hot. Monday, i got better, but my lips were dry and chapped. Yesterday, i lost my voice and my throat hurts like hell. I hate it when i have fever... I hope i recover before Friday and Saturday's show.

Valentine's day is jus another day for me. Nothing special this year. Why do i keep remembering all the people who dont want me to be part of them? Sigh~

And screw u faker! U're jus a big dumb fake, and u'll always be one. Ok, tats all. Thanks peace! :)

The roof climbing session at the office... Alyph and Syarif locked the door inside and there was no key to it... So i had to be a spiderman ofcourse cos i'm small and thin. I'm useful k... Haha!

I've been busy, wif alot of things to do. And i still have loads more to finish. This month i have 5 shows, and last Saturday, my first show was Speakeasy. I dont know why, but i feel really² happy meetin my hiphop friends nowadays. Those sheesha session, beat making session, personal life story session, etc. I feel like some of them has gone thru so much wif me, and i love them for being around everytime. But i do miss my other friends. All so busy now.

Niwae Speakeasy was superb. I felt like home there. The event gets more interesting and fun everytime we do it, and more and more people came for the show. I did a track for Phique, and it was one of the few ones i like. She was really good on it. She even made the effort to come over and add lips on the track, wif Suhaimi and Nita. *ehem ehem* Hehehe! Niwae, Mie did the D&B version of it, and we mixed it together. It was power. I liked it alot. The whole time Phique and Mie performed the track i was smiling at the back. I was so happy, i dont know why. But it felt good.

The part i like bout Speakeasy is during and after the show. Meeting different people and old friends are fun k. Jus by saying 'hi' or them saying 'hi' can really make my day. I'm petty right? Oh well... I love to entertain people, and tats wat i do best. After the show, most of the crowd would stand outside, and tats when u get to make more new friends. Best k! But the most irritating part is when u dont know which group of friends to follow next. Haha! We've all been in tat situation, havent we?

After the event we chilled at Mosi and tats when i realise Su and Nadra was like missing. Ainon was there btw, and we finally get to take a pic together. Yeay! Later, we then headed to Al-Maj for sheesha. Haha! Its like a routine every Speakesay aint it? Well, tats wat i like to do. Plus, me and Aizat are now like the sheesha beat making buddy. Haha!

Imran and PlayPause did my bio for FreAkyZ, and its so freakin nice k. I wish i could show it to all of u, but its not the time yet. They will put it on the BS website as soon as its ready. I'm so excited cos things are finally happening for FreAkyZ, and i hope i dont screw up again. I wont. I'm having a show tomorrow at Clementi ITE and on Friday, i'm having another show infront of the Caltex House doing a roadshow for Localbrand. So if u're around tat area come down, and meet me. Hehe! And yes Mira, i'm performin at D'Marquee on the 18th. Come down k. But most important of all, u guys must come for Hiphop Hurray III on the 25th. Mark ur calender. I managed to reconcile my relationship wif an old friend of mine. We were very close at one point of time, until i screwed up. We both had our own misunderstanding, but now, its all good. Sometimes the best thing to do is jus say sorry. It helps actually. Everytime i think bout the word 'sorry', i would always think bout this song called Never Again by Justin Timberlake.

Went to Prickly Bush last Sunday, and my goodness, the can drinks were $4 k. I asked Faith why the high price, she said it was because there's 7-eleven opposite and they're sellin it at a cheaper price. Huh?? I totally dont understand tat part. But luckily, the spicy chicken were the same price. I miss having those drumlets for quite some time. *slurps*

Alot of people says that i look younger now, wif the new haircut. I hate it k. Haha! I miss my indie hair. Screw the barber wif his slope cut k... Secondary eh adik? :)
