There will be time when i will get totally engrossed in sumthin, and the time is now.

I've been listening to Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine and also her old albums. I dont actually have her new album, but i'm gonna get one soon, cos the CD is worth the money. I'll give Extraordinary Machine - 10/10 for dope music and lyrics. I didnt know she was tat good k. If she's in the HipHop scene, she would probably be a lyricist. My god, her lyrics are dope k. I totally feel her, its like she's talkin to me. Hehe... Drama abit. No lah, but she's totally dope. Love her voice and music. She makes me wanna do more song and beats, cos she's so creative and talented. She's like my new Cranberries. U should check her out. Niwae my header is one of her lyrics. Style rite? Hehe...


Rachael Yamagata...

Niwae fyi, tis is Rachael Yamagata, she's also dope. Her voice, oh my god, so sultry and sexy. Her songs are so deep. Her latest album, Happenstance, is a very good album with a few dope tracks. Happenstance - 8/10 for the voice, sad music and lyrics. If u're into emotional but powerful songs, check her out. Really good.



Franz Ferdinand...

If u're into crazy tunes, like me, then u should check out Franz Ferdinand 2nd album, You Could Have It So Much Better. They're so funny and their songs are all catchy. U might get irritated on some tracks, but they really have a very unique sound. Some people said they're rip-off of some old bands, but hey, no idea is original. They actually remind me of our local band, The Pinholes, crazy and dope at the same time. And for tat, i give You Could Have It So Much Better - 8.5/10 for catchy and poppy tunes, crazy wacko lyrics and a very² funny music video. Haha!

Oh btw, Fiona Apple's second album is called, When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might So When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and if You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and if You Fall It Won't Matter, 'Cuz You'll Know That You're Right... I jus found out bout tis new software, and i think its kinda cool. Shutterfly is much easier to use, but Flickr has alot more options and features. Best k! But the disadvantage bout Flickr is tat it has a photo limit each month. And why do the pictures quality change huh everytime i upload them on the net? Irritating k. I had my best set ever last monday and i still havent got over it yet. Everything happened jus like the times at Beats For Peace. I gave a lil extra effort i think, for tat nite. I was damn tired actually. Work from 9 - 5 and i had to report at 7.30pm. But i was late ofcourse, cos had to break fast. When i reached the Arts House, the whole place were filled wif hot and beautiful models. They're so freakin tall k.

Soundcheck dragged till 10pm, and so the show started a lil late. But its aite. Phorus kicked off the show, but i dont know why they only did one song. Then Public Eyez did their set, and they were amazing. The crowd even throw their hands in the air k. Hehe! Then it was Ger's turn. She was good, but i think she had stage fright. But its cool. Then Rain Dogs rock the set, wif some pop jazz songs. I like. Then came one more band, i cant remember their name actually. Then it was my turn. I did 3 songs and thank god, i did pretty good. I jus love it when the crowd goes wild on every punchline. Its the best feelin, u noe wat i mean rite.

After the show, i changed back to my normal clothin, cos i had to give the cool t-shirt back. As i walked out to meet the rest, almost everyone there complimented bout my performance. There was also tis hot lady who said, "U were amazing! My god, i love you!"... I love you too! Hahaha! Best k! Took some pictures wif the lovely gals at the reception. One of them is so cute. Cannot tasyan. Then even the cameraman joined in. Hehe! Tat was fun. Met a few more people, shook hands, say hi, hello, thank you so much and then left the place. I actually wanted to hang ard there more. Hehehe! Best k! I would never forget tat night. Suddenly i feel like FreAkyZ is really² back in action. Cant wait for my next gig in December.

Besides tat, i also had my other series of fortunate events. I had my shoot for Nagafilms last Sunday, and i had alot of fun k. The first shoot was 7am till 11am. I had to act as a son to an indian family who's touring Singapore. U get wat i'm sayin. Niwae i had to wear my blue kurta so nothing could go wrong. Hehe! Then later in the evening, i had two more shoot. I made a fool of myself actually, but i'm glad the people there were laughin like crazy. Effort k. Haha! Best lah...

Oh yah, i went Tioman again last month, and i think i injured my backbone. It hurts till today. I lost cash too, but its all good. I hope my bestfriend is doing fine, he's under alot of pressure now.

Niwae its only been like 2 and a half weeks since i last update. Bedek eh, after a whole new moon. Its still the same moon mah!
